“True originality consists not in a new manner but in a new vision”
I was approached by a company I work on retainer for to create a new Whitepaper for one of their clients. NovaDine, is a company that provides enterprise-class POS integrated digital ordering solutions to multi-unit restaurant chains. With the unanticipated challenges faced by many restaurants during the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, NovaDine found itself in need
of a new multi-page document describing the curbside and contactless pickup and delivery options that their clients offer. The whitepaper reflects many levels of communication back and forth with the client and showcases their already established brand. Copy was provided and construct and design were created by Khat Graphics.
ECGC T-SHIRT DESIGN
The East Coast Game Conference (ECGC) is the largest gathering of video game professionals on the East Coast. The focus of the conference is to provide video game developers an engaging program and opportunities for networking and collaboration. Each year ECGC hosts a t-shirt competition to showcase their convention. The challenge was to create an engaging image that would appeal to both the technical side of the target audience as well as the creative side. I settled on a figure in a very dynamic pose exploring the exciting new world of VR technology. The pixelated disintegration utilized was indicative of dissolving into the VR world. It was most challenging to remain in the 4 color maximum while keeping all the
detail I wanted to portray.
ECGC COVID REDESIGN
ECGC contacted me again to express their desire to update the design to reflect the pandemic year. The conference was not able to be held in 2020 due to the worldwide COVID-19 epidemic. Because of this, ECGC plans to release a limited edition t-shirt using the design that won in 2020 as a base. Incorporation of design elements to reflect “The Conference That Wasn’t” included pixelated COVID cells and molecules, visor reflections, and the addition of a mask to the driver. The company has also expressed that they may use this design in multiple places, including but not limited to-website display, advertisements, banners, and other swag that will be made available on their website and at future conventions. ECGC will return 2021 for a virtual converence. This page to

T-34/85 TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATION
Military Vehicles magazine approached me with the need for a highly detailed and informative exploded technical drawing of the interior of a tank to pair with an upcoming article. The order called for a thorough and accurate depiction, and I decided to focus on the T-34/85, one of the most versitile and well known tanks of WWll. I was quite surprised at just how much the military of the time was able to fit into such a small space, and wanted to show as much as I could, as accurately as possible. The illustration can be viewed either with or without the informative legend and is also developed into a short animation, showing the panels and equipment in place, then slowly expanding out.
