SPLASHKHAT
Custom Font Design
SplashKhat original font was designed as a punk-rock alternative decorative font for the brand Sick-It Fashions. They approached me with a request to create something new and edgy for their newest fasion line. The intended audience was young adults on the cutting edge of alternative fashion.
Technique
Khat Graphics first laid out a basic alphabet design using markers and transferred it digitally. Then a highly detailed splatter effect was superimposed behind each vector and the letters were removed to create a transparent “ghost” figure.
Implementation
This is a highly detailed and complex decorative font best used for cutting edge fashion and large billboard design.
